Lamb Stock Base

Rich, smooth and extremely tasty, Major Lamb Stock Base, as its name suggests, is packed full of meaty flavour. Not surprisingly though, since lamb is its main ingredient.

Quintessentially good with virtually all lamb dishes, from hot pots to casseroles, soups to sauces, and gravies to pie fillings. So much so that if mutton is in the recipe then this product should be too.

For perfect lamb gravy, use with Demi-glace, fresh rosemary, salt and pepper to taste, and thicken with corn flour as required

Lamb (35%), salt, sugar, yeast extract, maltodextrin, glucose syrup, molasses, concentrated lamb extract, lamb fat, dried onion, milk protein, lemon juice concentrate, natural flavouring, black pepper, spices, sunflower oil.

Directions for Use

Simple to DILUTE. Dissolve 20-25g (1 level to 1 heaped dessertspoon) depending on taste, into 1 litre of boiling water and whisk. Each 1kg pot yields up to 50 litres. Or, alternatively, MIX-IN directly to sauces, dressings and fresh dips. The soft semi-liquid paste is so versatile and easy to use, it can be BRUSHED-ON directly to enhance the flavour of your dish.

Recommended Storage

Before opening, store in a cool dry place. Once opened use within 3 months or by the best before date and keep pot tightly closed and chilled (<5°C) between use.
