method
1. Mix modified starch with a little of the milk.
2. Boil remaining milk, stir in starch and simmer for 2 minutes.
3. Stir in Major Cheddar Cheese Stock Base, vinegar, pickle and season with pepper.
4. Stir in mayonnaise.
5. Leave to cool, stir frequently to prevent skin forming.
6. When cold stir in spring onions.
