Turkey and Cheddar Chimichangas
Using Major Piri Piri Mari Base

Turkey Mince
500g
Onions- Finely Diced

Garlic Puree

Salsa- Any Brand
325g
Major Piri Piri Mari Base
65g
Cheddar Cheese- Grated
250g
Soft Tortillas

Butter- Melted

method
1. Heat a dry frying pan.

2. Add mince, onions and garlic puree and cook over high heat until sealed, breaking up mince as it cooks.

3. Drain off any liquid and return to heat.

4. Stir in salsa and Major Piri Piri Mari Base.

5. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.

6. Brush one side of the tortilla with butter.

7. Turnover and on the unbuttered side spoon about 100g of the turkey mixture into the centre.

8. Top with 25g of cheese.

9. Fold 2 sides over filling then fold ends down to make a parcel.

10. Place seam side down in baking dish.

11. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C until golden brown.

12. You may also assemble with hot meat and dry fry in a frying pan until golden brown on each side.

13. To serve- top with sour cream and guacamole.
