Our Manufacturing Facility
Our manufacturing facility, built next to our Major Head Office and Innovation Centre in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire opened on 1st September 2015. The Major production site was built to offer UK manufacturers a UK BRC Level 7 approved factory.
State-of-the-art equipment and facilities allow us to produce vast batches of natural, clean label products in liquid, paste and powder form. In fact, we'd say we've taken the stock and sauce markets to new levels over the last year!
Making our customers the priority
Major has the expertise and experience to create bespoke products to meet your specific profiles. We have been working with national and local multi-unit operators for over 25 years and can offer a range of pack sizes to suit small to bulk purchasing from 5kg tubs through to 1-ton IBC (intermediate bulk containers).
Our state-of-the-art innovation centre located in Higham Ferrers Northamptonshire, enables customers to get involved in the process and recommend any new recipes and give any feedback. We have a purpose designed innovation test kitchen, able to seat 20 guests along with two video conference facility board rooms to offer our customers the complete package.

Are safety checks part of the manufacturing process?
Yes of course! Food safety checks are carried out throughout the manufacturing process. Major internationals certification with BRCGS (British Retail Consortium) requires a safety audit check to be carried out at least once a year to ensure everything is in working order and safe for customer consumption. The Major International factory, where everything is manufactured, is a UK BRC Level 7 approved factory.

How long does it take for products to dispatch after manufacture?
Orders received by Major International are usually processed and dispatched between 3-5 working days (for Southern Ireland, Scottish Isles these times may vary.)

Is there any product testing done during the manufacturing process?
Yes! We make sure every product is properly manufactured and tested before we send it out! Our great team of professional development chefs as well as our NPD (New product development) team make the quality of the product an absolute priority and it’s a factor that’s largely taken into consideration during the creation of new products.
