Major and the Craft Guild of Chefs work in partnership to organise the annual Major Series of Display Classes.  The national competition, open to junior and senior student chefs of varying skill levels, takes place throughout the year at venues around the country and culminates in a live final held at Hospitality or Hotelympia. This competition is growing in popularity with more Colleges taking part each year.

“Today the Major Series is seen as one of the UK’s premier competitions and it’s a great way to encourage creativity and showcase your skills.  We were overwhelmed by the standard in the final and the Mari Base marinades were used very well!” comments David Bryant, Managing Director of Major International.

The standard of the students is rising every year at the Major Series and we are thrilled with how much interest we get from the colleges and students. We have witnessed and tasted some fantastic recipes over the years and we cant wait to see what this years entries bring. Put yourself to the test and download an application form today to be in with a chance of winning!
