1. Peel, core, quarter and slice the apples.
2. Put them into a heavy based pan with the water and sugar. Cook covered over a low heat stirring from time to time until apples are soft.
3. Stir in raspberries, Major Raspberry Fruit Base and cinnamon.
4. Set aside to cool.
5. Line a flan tin with short crust pastry.
6. Fill with the fruit mixture.
7. Top with pastry and cook in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
8. Sprinkle with a little sugar.
